The neckband format sits cleanly under ballistic and training helmets, and the rugged 3 mm ABS cups with sealed silicone cushions stay comfortable during long sessions. Power comes from two AAA batteries with up to roughly 400 hours of standby; an auto shut-off helps conserve charge.
